Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HookTest ("the Service"), operated by Naptown Labs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

HookTest provides unique webhook URLs for testing, debugging, and inspecting HTTP requests. The Service includes free and paid tiers with different feature sets and usage limits.

Accounts

Accounts are created via magic link email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and for all activity that occurs under your HookTest account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Transmit or store illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Send sensitive personal data (SSNs, passwords, credit card numbers) as webhook payloads
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or deliberately overload the Service
• Use the Service for phishing, malware distribution, or fraud
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Free Tier

Free webhook bins expire after 24 hours and are limited to 100 requests. Expired bins and their data are permanently deleted by our automated cleanup process. We may adjust free tier limits at any time.

Pro Subscription

The Pro plan is billed monthly at the rate displayed on our pricing page. Subscriptions are processed through Stripe. You may cancel at any time, and your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days.

Data and Privacy

Webhook request data captured by the Service is stored according to your plan tier. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on data collection, retention, and handling.

Forwarding

When you configure forwarding rules, you are responsible for ensuring that forwarded data complies with the terms and policies of the receiving service (Slack, Discord, or custom endpoints). We are not liable for data transmitted to third-party services at your direction.

Availability and Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naptown Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.
